DeLaval spraycare box

At the cutting edge of hoof hygiene

The solid DeLaval spraycare box is strong and its whole construction is immersion galvanized.

It is specially designed to keep the animal still so that liquid can properly penetrate the hooves during spraying.

When the cow enters the box a special sensor detects its presence and the back gate closes. The spraying action starts.

DeLaval spraycare box can optionally be equipped with an udder and/or back spray system.

1. Hoof cleaning

First the special nozzles clean the rear hooves from front to back and around the inter-digital space. This procedure is done with jets of water.

2. Hoof spraying

Then a pre-determined quantity of the cleaning solution is sprayed on to the hooves. When the process is completed the front gate opens and the cow leaves the box.
